Here is a .45 caliber semi-automatic version of the world's first and most famous military rifle. The Thompson M1 was used victoriously in battles throughout the world, inscribing its place for all times as a legend among military firearms. We offer the same attention to craftsmanship today that made the original so highly regarded. The look and feel are authentic, right down to the side bolt action. The frame and receiver are milled from aluminum, the wood is genuine American walnut and the overall finish is a black anodized aluminum.

Well Worth the Wait

My first "gun" was a Crosman 760 at the tender age of 9; its foregrip was like the Thompson I wish I had and now I have one! A chance encounter led me here and I couldn't be more pleased! WBT was up front with their terms and the CA environment goes without saying so I didn't mind the wait at all. Like most blowback systems the spring forces are powerful and particularly so here but after stripping it down and cleaning/lubing/familiarizing it was all good. I typically use US military-grade ammo in US military-grade weapons and this is particularly important for Thompsons; brass cases only, that extends to snap-caps. Pistol Caliber Carbine? No, I'm proud and ecstatic to own Pistol Caliber History!
