Ruger Mini-14 10/20 Magazine CALIFORNIA LEGAL - .223/5.56

So far I have put a few hundred rounds through without any issues. Worked flawlessly and looks great for those of us in restricted states.

After using them a few times on the range now, I stand behind my 1str review. Excellent OEM magazine that work flawlessly. WBT knows the details. Shipped quick and in Factory packaging. The base plates/block are epoxied and riveted in place to comply with the laws, so there's no worry the plate will fall off during rough handling or shooting (and also means less dirt/dust getting in there, too). I'll definitely be ordering some more. This is a great service to provide for those of us who have restrictions but want a better appearance on our Mini14's.

These are Factory mags that are blocked to comply with my State's mag restrictions. Function well and look much better in the rifle than the stock 10rd mags. Shipped pretty quick (Had them within a week). No issues. If you have a Mini 14 and want it to look better, these are the way to go! Liked them so much, I'm going to order more!

Sure, you can get factory (or aftermarket) 10-round mags and they're going to be a lil (or a lot) cheaper. I skipped those and went straight to these blocked 20-rounders for a few reasons: - To make sure no one can fit 11 or more rounds into the mag, 10-round mags always make that 10th round a pain in the ass to load. This seems to be the most common complaint on Ruger's store, even. - These look cooler. Subjective, but factual. - I struggled to learn mag drills with five-round mags, and I really didn't see that being much different with 10-rounders that don't hang much lower. The added leverage of the blocked 10/20s helped me get over that hump. It's worth noting that WBT glues/epoxies the baseplate in place, and I'm not sure that's really necessary. The Magblock replaces the spring retainer and WBT keeps the retainer, so I don't know that one could readily convert them to an illegal "high capacity" configuration. That said, I really appreciate WBT for making these available and building them out for those of us in less-sensible states!
