Sales Associate

Job Type: Sales Associate; Full-time 32-40hrs per week, 9am-5pm; Must have weekend availability.

Job Description: The Sales Associate will work out of our La Mesa, CA office/retail store. Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email or in person is the most important aspect of our business. The Firearms Sales Associate will focus primarily on our retail customers. 

Location: In person, La Mesa, CA. Remote work is not available at this time.

We will train the right person that meets the following basic requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must type 30+ words per minute and be comfortable with computer based systems.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Must pass a background check and be eligible to own firearms. No felonies or violent misdemeanor convictions are allowed. You must obtain and maintain a Certificate of Eligibility from the CA Department of Justice.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

Senior Sales Associate

Job Type:  Senior Sales Associate; Full-time 40hrs per week; Must have weekend availability.

Job Description: The  Senior Sales Associate will work out of our La Mesa, CA office/retail store.  The Senior Firearms Sales Associate will focus primarily on our dealers as well as our auction items via gunbroker.  This is a sales job. You will be required to meet certain sales goals to maintain employment. 
 
Pay: Base pay discussed at time of interview/hiring as well as commission. 

Location: In person, La Mesa, CA. Remote work is not available at this time.

We will train the right person that meets the following basic requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years of firearms sales experience within California. 
  • Valid COE
  • Current DOJ FSC Instructor Card
  • Extensive Knowledge of CA firearms laws. 
  • Must type 30+ words per minute and be comfortable with computer based systems.
  • Be 100% comfortable talking to and developing relationships with business clients on the phone. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • You must be passionate about firearms. 
  • This is a long term position with room for growth. It is NOT entry level.
