The P229 Compact Enhanced Elite model takes the features common to all Elite series pistols, such as Siglite night sights and the short reset trigger (SRT), combined with the ergonomic one-piece modular grip. It also has a beavertail frame and front strap checking. This model comes with two 10-round magazines.

Great pistol

Sometimes an older pistol is still in its prime. Absolutely love the P229. My favorite 9mm even with only iron sights. Smooth, relatively low recoil, comfortable. I usually update my pistols in some way: different grip, recoil reducing springs, reduced pull trigger, and maybe even a flat trigger. Nope, none of those are need for the P229. Perfect as is. Highly recommend.

Solid Sig Sauer Quality

In spite of being a decades old design, the P229 is still a solid purchase. Typical Sig quality you've come to expect and love, with fantastic upgrades. Really can't go wrong. Also worth mentioning is how great and easy the order/transfer process was from Wilde Built Tactical to a local FFL. Would highly recommend purchasing from this establishment.

I am very impressed by the SRT from the factory. When you combine the accuracy and balance that is expected form a manufacturer like Sig, you just know that you are still getting the best value for your hard earned cash!
