Arsenals Exclusive Milled and Forged Receiver
Each SAM7R receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by Arsenal, Bulgaria. Arsenal's hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.
Each forged receiver blank requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but Arsenals meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequaled strength, precision, and durability.
Includes FIME Group Enhanced Fire Control Group
Includes FM-922EUS, the Enhanced Fire Control Group (FCG) for AK- and RPK-based rifles. FIME's Enhanced FCG includes a single-hook trigger, hammer, disconnector, disconnector springs.
FIME’s Enhanced Fire Control Group delivers shortened trigger travel with an extremely smooth and light trigger pull. To prevent lever misfires, the disconnector face makes full contact with the hammer. Further, the disconnector is engineered with an elongated tail, which makes a full stop on the rear trigger guard rivet and the hammer stop prevents the hammer from slamming on the trigger. With these two designs functioning together, it eliminates the “trigger slap” found in competing products.

Yeah, I know this rifle is expensive, but it’s worth every penny invested. From the AKs I’ve handled in the military, to the ones I’ve handled on the range, this is one of the best I’ve handled. The action is smooth, and isn’t heavy at all. Already went threw 1k rounds without any flaws. The quality of this rifle is excellent, and I don’t regret paying as much as I did. I’d recommend this specific rifle to anybody in the market for an AK.

I just picked mine up a few days before this review. I took it ou the next two mornings with a little under 100 rounds; steel and brass. I made sure it was zeroed; dead on. I also zeroed an old Bushnell AK red dot with a Midwest Industries side mount; soild and holds zero remounting a few times. This is a solid rifle, a great shooter and surprisingly soft. I do recommend getting a thumb rest. It will make the goofy CA fin grip a little less ridiculous. With black plolymer on black steel appearance, It is also an attention grabber at the range.
