Diamondback's DB10 Rifle Series is an outstanding value proposition when comparing components to price. It features a mid-length gas system with a melonite AR10 carrier with multi-caliber bolt, DPMS-style barrel extension, and high pressure firing pin. This DB10 model has an adjustable Rogers Super-Stoc buttstock, A2-style pistol grip and a free-floated, nitrided barrel with an A2 flash hider. It also has a 7075-T6 forged aluminum receiver and 10" M-Lok handguard.

Finally took it out to the range.

Wayyyy better than I thought. Took it to my 40 acre property and it went up against a similar gun the Aero Precision M5. Two of us testing and sighting in the rifles. Once we got the rifles sighted we went for accuracy. 33yrds we were able to get on paper and shoot accurately with both rifles. The DB10 actually had tighter groups. The Aero had one more bulls than the DB10. At a 100yrds it was equal with the DB10 again having better groups but one less bulls than the Aero M5. Ergos I have a magpul K2 grip, Magpul ACS stock and magpul handstop...Feel great but it also has Surefire procomp. Had a little more recoil than the DB10. DB10 has a Magpul MPE + with rubber overmold, Magpul STR stock, Magpul handstop and stock A2 flash hider that came with the gun. The DB10 had less recoil was quieter..Yes, comps are louder and just felt better even though they are same length etc. My Aero M5 is FDE body with black parts. My DB10 is 100% black. Both have Aero Breach ambi chargers which work great. Both are riding aero BCGs with the M5 having the Nickel boron while the DB10 had the black nitride. Optics the M5 has a a Vortecx Strike Eagle 1-8 sfp - have hunted enough times to know at 100-150 yrds - 7x-8x is perfect. The 1-8 is mounted on an American Defense QR scope mount. The DB10 has the Sig Sauer Tango MSR 1-10 scope SFP...I shot using 7x as this is a pig/ hunting gun. Both did well but the set up of the DB10 just felt better for pig hunting. Which is better? I bought the DB10 and have the M5...Both shoot great and will kill pig or game out to 100 yrds and further. That I guarantee. but the DB10 is almost half the price....That is a lot. Now I have no regrets getting the M5 and owning the DB10...I can say I have an opinion...All I will say is this...Anyone slamming Diamonback...I will have a shoot off for your gun any day any time. This gun will hunt literally. I have a Bergara b-14 HMR, Pre Remington, collapse M700, Springfield Cross, Daniel Defense M4 (2x), etc...This gun is good to go from an owership standpoint. So buy with confidence...This is going with me to West Virginia to kill some hogs in 2 weeks. Lemme know if you want pics afterwards posers. The DB10 is legit and a great AR10 for hunting. As for precision??? There are better choices for sure. Literally though, this gun will hunt which it will in a couple of weeks.

    Diamondback DB10

5th gun purchase with Wilde Built! Flawless as usual and in conjunction with my bad arse FFL, stress free. The gun is gorgeous. I have an Aero Precision M5 and though the rail is better on the Aero, the craftsmanship and build quality of the DB10 is just as good. It is lighter than my Aero M5 which is FDE I wanted a black AR308 style rifle and the DB10 does not disappoint in the looks department. I definitely prefer Maglock versus fixed mag. This gun is going pig hunting with me in TX where I have already downed 2 pigs and an Auodad with a Remy M700 in Magpul stock. So I am excited to see how this DB10 will shoot. Will give an update on it once I get a kill with it. However, from a quality, looks and component standpoint it is more than I could ask for in a $1k AR5308 style rifle. My Aero M5 was well over $1200 to piece together with no add-ons or optics. This will get an upgraded stock most likely Magpul ACS, Mapgul K2 grip, Magpul handstop, Magpul MBUS sights and Surefire brake...As for optics I am unsure...It is a pig gun so nothing fancy as it will get tossed around and shot. NO SAFE Queens here. Great job to Wilde Built for another great transaction!
