CA Compliance:
California compliance
- Status: Legal to own in California.
- Configuration: Fixed magazine (CompMag), installed by WBT. The CompMag is a fixed 10-round magazine that stays in the rifle and loads one round at a time from the side through a loading port, so the rifle keeps its pistol grip, stock and muzzle device and is never opened to reload. It fits most rifles that take a standard AR-15, AR-10 or AK-47 magazine.
- Magazine: 10-round CompMag, fixed in place; loads from the side.
- Your options: If this page shows a compliance selector, choose the build you prefer and we configure it that way. If not, this is the configuration we offer by default; on AR-pattern rifles and some AKs a different build is often possible, so ask us before you order.

Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce the long-awaited release of the JAKL Rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO! This platform is built around a 6105 monolithic rifle-length upper receiver designed to be compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver. The PSA JAKL offers a buffer system that is fully captured in the upper receiver, shortening the firearm's overall length. Completed with a Pin & Weld SureFire WarComp 5.56 1/2x28 Flash Hider, F5 MFG Modular Stock System, and PSA Enhanced Polished Trigger fire control group.
The PSA JAKL features a long-stroke piston design with a Carpenter 158 bolt and 4340 carrier that are an AK/AR hybrid. Our Knurled JAKL side charging handle is ambidextrous, allowing the user to change positions to the left or right side of the receiver without the use of tools. Equipped with a tool-less 8-position gas block, this feature offers the ability to quickly adjust your gas block by hand when needed. Field stripping and removal of the JAKL carrier, recoil assembly, and sled assembly can all be done without tools for effortless cleaning.
SureFire WarComp 5.56 1/2x28 Flash Hider, Pin & Welded on 14.5" 5.56 NATO Barrel - The proprietary design of SureFire’s WarComp flash hiders/suppressor adapters provides the best attributes of both devices. The WarComp delivers superior flash reduction and significantly reduces muzzle rise, helping to conceal your location, preserve your dark-adapted vision, and keep you on target for faster follow-up shots. They effectively eliminate more than 98% of all muzzle flash, even on short-barreled rifles, and their port direction can be optimized for virtually any shooting style. Precision machined from U.S. mill-certified, heat-treated stainless steel bar stock, every WarComp includes high-precision single-point cut barrel threads for optimum thread interface. DLC coating provides maximum protection under harsh environmental conditions and facilitates cleaning even after extreme use. SureFire's WarComp is the best suppressor adapter in the world. Period.
F5 MFG PSA JAKL Modular Stock System - F5 MFG modular stock system is adjustable, ultra-rugged, lightweight, and simple to operate. Not to mention it looks great.
