DEALER SERVICES

Dealer Services

Dealer-exclusive California compliance. Wilde Built Tactical supplies other California dealers with firearms not typically offered in a CA-legal configuration. We can make almost any rifle California legal for your store.

As a California dealer, you no longer have to wait on CA SKUs to be in stock. WBT lets you stock and special-order firearms normally found only in “free” states — so you can take the special order instead of watching a sale walk out the door over California’s restrictions. We offer direct distribution and accept drop shipments to us on your account terms.

Current lead time: about 2–3 weeks from the day your shipment is received. Special orders run about 3 weeks. Shipping times to us vary by distributor and are outside our control.

New Dealers: Getting Started

If you’re a gun store in California or another restrictive state, download our dealer agreement and return it with the required documents to dealers@wbtguns.com. Once we receive it, a WBT representative will reach out with more information and our dealer conversion price sheet.

How Ordering Works

Push your order through your preferred distributor as usual, then have your rep forward the rifle(s) to us. Most distributors and California regional reps already have our FFL on file — if not, forward it yourself or contact us and we’ll reach out to your rep.

Once your shipment arrives, it enters our processing queue and is filled in the order received. After processing, we issue an invoice with the corresponding services, FedEx tracking number(s), and CFLC to the email address on file.

Expedited orders are quoted per request to cover expedited distributor shipping and overtime rates.

Additional Services

Single-Action Conversions

Manufacturers have been generous to California on the Handgun Roster when it comes to revolvers. For the ones that slipped through, we can convert most revolvers to single-action exempt. To qualify, the revolver must have a barrel of at least 3 inches and an overall length of at least 7.5 inches.

No-Ship-to-CA Forwarding

If a supplier won’t ship a product to California over Prop 65 or another internal policy, contact us — we can usually help.

Magazine Blocking

One-off blocking generally isn’t cost effective. Some magazines develop reliability issues when riveted, so we rely exclusively on commercial mag-blocks. Because of the huge number of magazine variants, we usually have to special-order the block for the job — which quickly turns a $4 mag-block into $10 after shipping, before labor. This service makes the most sense for pricier proprietary magazines or in bulk, and is handled case by case. Email us for a quote.
