The Midwest Industries bolt carrier group is an assembled M16-profile BCG for 5.56/.223 AR-15s. The 8620 carrier and 4140 billet gas key are titanium nitride coated, the gas key is torqued with grade 8 fasteners and staked, and the Carpenter 158 bolt is heat treated, shot peened and magnetic particle inspected with an H&M black nitride finish. It has a billet 4140 extractor with insert and O-ring, a 4140 cam pin and a 17-4 stainless firing pin, and it is made in the USA.
