ATN PS31-3 HFW Goggles Generation 3 Auto-Gated Phosphor 64-72 Ip/Mm Grade 1x18 Night Vision
Night vision and thermal both let you see in the dark, but they work differently. Thermal reads heat, so it finds animals in brush and total darkness. Image-intensified night vision amplifies existing light, giving a more natural image that makes identification easier.
This configuration is 1x with a 18mm objective.
Sensor resolution and refresh rate are the two specs that determine what a thermal unit can actually do at distance. On night vision, tube specification drives everything. Confirm both against your intended use before ordering.
