Holosun 512C Gold Dot – 2 MOA Dot / 65 MOA Circle
The 512C is the enclosed-hood version of the 510C. The improved hood shields the emitter from debris and moisture that an open reflex sight leaves exposed, while keeping the same wide viewing window that makes the 510-series easy to shoot with both eyes open.
Gold is the least common of the three and the most useful against cluttered natural backgrounds. Against brush, dirt and shadow, it separates from the target in a way red sometimes doesn't. The Multi-Reticle System puts a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, and the two combined on one switch, so you change the reticle to the shot instead of settling for one compromise.
It runs the Multi-Reticle System — 2 MOA dot, 65 MOA circle, or both — on a CR2032 rated to 50,000 hours, with Shake Awake managing idle time. A practical choice for carbines, PCCs and shotguns that live in the weather.
