The red reticle is the traditional choice and the easiest on battery life. It sits cleanly against most backgrounds without the extra brightness that green demands. A 2 MOA dot is the precision choice. It covers two inches at 100 yards, so it doesn't hide a small target, and it's fine enough to shoot groups with rather than just point with.
A single clean dot keeps the sight picture uncluttered, and the 20mm tube mounts with standard micro-optic hardware. Holosun has since replaced this line with the ARO series, so remaining 403 stock is worth grabbing if the classic tube format is what you want.
