Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Sig Sauer 226 Dovetail Scope Mount – Black
Leupold has been machining scope mounting hardware in Oregon since long before most of the current market existed, and their ring and base systems are the reference other makers get compared against. A one-piece mount replaces the separate base-and-ring stack with a single machined unit. Fewer joints means fewer places for the system to shift, which is why precision and duty shooters keep moving this direction.
It uses a dovetail interface, which locks with a rotating fit rather than clamping over a rail. Steel construction adds weight but resists deformation under clamping force better than aluminum, which is why it stays popular on hard-kicking rifles.
