Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot Scope Base – Black, Fits Weatherby Vanguard
Leupold has been machining scope mounting hardware in Oregon since long before most of the current market existed, and their ring and base systems are the reference other makers get compared against. A scope base bridges your receiver and your rings. It's a simple part with no tolerance for sloppy fit, because every error here multiplies by the time it reaches the reticle.
It mounts directly to the receiver, so fitment is specific to the action it was machined for — check the fit before ordering. Aluminum construction keeps weight down without giving up the rigidity a mount needs.
This one is machined specifically for the Weatherby Vanguard. Mounting hardware is action-specific, so confirm your exact model and generation before ordering — a base that is close but not correct will not sit square.
