The Mark 4HD sits between the Mark 3HD and the Mark 5HD: more turret and more glass than the 3, at a price well under the 5. It was built for precision rifle shooters who want repeatable dialing without paying flagship money.
This configuration is 2.5-10x with a 42mm objective. It uses the Illuminated FFP TMR reticle. First focal plane means the reticle scales with magnification, so holdover and ranging subtensions stay accurate at any power setting. It needs 30mm rings.
Turrets are designed to track and return to zero reliably, which is the whole point of a dialing scope — a scope that doesn't come back to zero is just an expensive holdover optic. Twilight Max HD light management extends usable shooting light at each end of the day.
