Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 Zoom 2-16x50 Thermal Scope – 640x480, 50Hz, Black
Pulsar has been at the front of consumer thermal for years, and the Thermion and Merger lines in particular set the benchmark other manufacturers get measured against.
This configuration is 2-16x with a 50mm objective.
Thermal detects heat rather than light, so an animal in brush or total darkness reads the same as one standing in the open. Pulsar's image processing is the reason people pay the premium — detection range on paper matters less than whether you can tell what you're looking at.
