Reptilia LLC ROF-90 Geissele 7075-T6 Scope Base – 30mm, Black
The base is the foundation of a scope mounting system — it bolts to the receiver and gives the rings something square and solid to clamp to. Get this part wrong and nothing above it can be right.
Sized for a 30mm tube, now the most common size on modern scopes because the larger tube allows more elevation travel. 7075 aluminum is the stronger of the two common alloys, roughly 30 percent stiffer than 6061, at the same light weight.
