Riton Tactix MPRD 3 Red Dot – 3 MOA
Riton is a veteran-owned Arizona company, and the Tactix MPRD is their micro pistol red dot. It sits in the budget tier without the throwaway feel that usually comes with it — 6061-T6 aluminum, aspherical glass, and a 50,000-hour battery.
A 3 MOA dot is the most common choice for good reason. Bigger than a 2 MOA for faster pickup under stress, small enough for accurate work at any realistic defensive distance.
It uses the Shield RMS-C footprint, the standard cut on sub-compact and micro-compact slides, so it drops onto guns like the S&W Shield Plus and Glock 43X MOS without a plate. Ten brightness levels include two that work under night vision, with a 12-hour auto shut-off. Tested to 1500G and rated waterproof and fogproof. The real argument is the warranty: Riton's is lifetime, transferable, and needs no receipt.
