Trijicon RMR Type 2 Auto-Adjust Red Dot – 3.25 MOA, Gray
This is the automatic-brightness RMR. Rather than setting brightness by hand, a light sensor reads the ambient conditions and drives the dot accordingly. For a carry or duty gun that's the right behavior — you draw and the dot is already at the correct intensity, with nothing to adjust under stress.
The 3.25 MOA dot is the classic RMR size and the most-sold configuration in the line. It sits right between speed and precision, which is why it ends up on more duty guns than any other option.
Everything else is standard Type 2: the patented recoil-distributing housing, 7075-T6 forged aluminum, and the upgraded electronics that made the Type 2 the default choice on slide-mounted duty guns.
