Ruger 6B30 Scope Rings – 30mm, Extra High, Steel, Black
Scope rings are the part of the system nobody thinks about until the zero walks. These clamp the scope tube to the base and hold it through recoil, which is a harder job than it looks on a rifle that actually gets shot.
Sized for a 30mm tube, now the most common size on modern scopes because the larger tube allows more elevation travel. Extra high rings are for oversized objectives or builds that need the optic well above the receiver, such as a rifle running a clip-on night vision device. Steel construction adds weight but resists deformation under clamping force better than aluminum, which is why it stays popular on hard-kicking rifles.
