A 3 MOA dot is the most common choice for good reason. Bigger than a 2 MOA for faster pickup under stress, small enough for accurate shooting at any realistic defensive distance.
The fully enclosed 7075 aluminum housing keeps debris off the emitter while the low deck height still co-witnesses with standard irons. The side-loading CR1632 means no re-zero on a battery change, and MOTAC motion activation delivers roughly 20,000 hours of runtime.
