The RomeoZero is the entry point into a pistol optic, and it earns its place by being light and inexpensive enough to put on a carry gun without a long argument about cost. The polymer housing keeps weight off a slim slide where every ounce changes how the gun handles.
A 6 MOA dot is the fast option. The larger dot is easier to find under stress, and at the distances defensive shooting actually happens, the extra size costs nothing in practical accuracy.
MOTAC motion activation wakes the dot when the gun moves and shuts it down when it sits, so the battery isn't burning while the pistol is holstered. It's built for carry and range use rather than duty abuse — for a first red-dot pistol it does exactly what it needs to.
