The TANGO-MSR line is Sig's answer for modern sporting rifles: low-power variable optics sized and priced for an AR rather than a precision bolt gun.
This configuration is 1-6x with a 24mm objective. Second focal plane keeps the reticle the same visual size throughout the magnification range, so it stays usable at low power — subtensions are only accurate at the stated magnification, usually maximum.
A true 1x on the low end means both eyes open at close range like a red dot, with magnification available when the target gets further out. Illuminated reticles run off a common battery with motion-activated illumination to preserve it.
