Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec M3 Red Dot – 3 MOA
Sightmark's Mini Shot line puts a working reflex sight on a pistol without a serious investment. The M3 versions use the Shield RMS-C footprint, which is the cut most slim carry guns come with, so they mount directly on a lot of popular pistols.
A 3 MOA dot is the most common choice for good reason. Bigger than a 2 MOA for faster pickup under stress, small enough for accurate work at any realistic defensive distance.
The aluminum housing is rated for use up to .375 H&H recoil and operates from -22°F to 122°F, with automatic brightness so there's nothing to set. The Solar version supplements the battery with a panel, pushing battery life far beyond what the price would suggest.
