The AccuPoint needs no battery. A fiber optic collects ambient light to drive the reticle and tritium takes over after dark, so the aiming point is always lit with nothing to switch on and nothing to run down.
This configuration is 1-6x with a 24mm objective.
That makes it the right choice for a hunting rifle that sits in a safe for months and then gets carried in weather. Manual brightness control is a fiber-optic cover you slide rather than a dial, and there is no electronic failure point anywhere in the system.
