Viridian MDS25 MDRN DOT T2 Red Dot – 3 MOA, Black
A red dot removes the alignment problem that iron sights create. There's no front and rear to line up — you put the dot on the target and press. That's why they've taken over defensive and competition shooting.
This configuration is 1X with a 30mm objective. It uses the Green Dot reticle.
Dot size is the main decision: smaller dots are more precise, larger dots are faster to find under stress. Check the mounting height suits your rifle and your cheek weld.
