Viridian RFX44 Red Dot – 5 MOA, Mount Included
Viridian's RFX line covers the major pistol footprints within one family, which is the practical reason to look at it: whatever your slide is cut for, there is probably an RFX that drops straight on without an adapter plate.
A 5 MOA dot is built for speed. The larger aiming point catches your eye faster on presentation, which is what matters most at close range.
The model number tells you the footprint. RFX11 and RFX15 are Shield RMSc, the RFX25 uses the Docter pattern shared with Burris FastFire and Vortex Venom, and the RFX35 is RMR with a Picatinny mount in the box. The RFX42, RFX44 and RFX45 are the closed-emitter models, which seal the emitter against lint and weather. All use INSTANT-ON motion activation, aluminum housings, and a CR2032 rated past 30,000 hours with 8 daylight and 2 night-vision brightness settings.
This configuration ships with the mount included, so it mounts without sourcing hardware separately.
