Warne has built scope mounts in Oregon since 1991, and their reputation rests on steel rings that hold zero on rifles that punish lesser hardware. Rings do one thing: hold the scope exactly where you put it, shot after shot. Undersized or poorly machined rings are behind more mystery accuracy problems than most shooters realize.
It fits both Picatinny and Weaver rails, which covers nearly everything with a cross-slot rail on top. Sized for a 30mm tube, now the most common size on modern scopes because the larger tube allows more elevation travel. Extra high rings are for oversized objectives or builds that need the optic well above the receiver, such as a rifle running a clip-on night vision device. Steel construction adds weight but resists deformation under clamping force better than aluminum, which is why it stays popular on hard-kicking rifles.
