Warne has built scope mounts in Oregon since 1991, and their reputation rests on steel rings that hold zero on rifles that punish lesser hardware. It uses a dovetail interface, which locks with a rotating fit rather than clamping over a rail. Sized for a 1-inch tube, the traditional American standard still used across most hunting scopes. High rings give clearance for large objective bells, 50mm and up, or for a rifle with a tall comb. The trade is a higher sight line over the bore. Steel construction adds weight but resists deformation under clamping force better than aluminum, which is why it stays popular on hard-kicking rifles.
