Their mounting hardware has been the affordable, available answer on American hunting rifles for generations. A one-piece mount replaces the separate base-and-ring stack with a single machined unit. Fewer joints means fewer places for the system to shift, which is why precision and duty shooters keep moving this direction.
It clamps to a Picatinny rail, the MIL-STD-1913 slot pattern used on virtually every modern rifle, so mounting position is adjustable along the rail. Aluminum construction keeps weight down without giving up the rigidity a mount needs.
