The Chiappa X-Caliber adapter is an 8-inch insert that lets a 12 gauge break-open shotgun fire .410 bore and .45 Colt. It slides into the chamber of the shotgun barrel, adding versatility to a single gun for small game, practice or survival use. Spent cases are removed by hand, and a break-open gun with an extractor is recommended.
