A Forward Controls Design augmented bolt catch for 7.62mm (AR-10/AR-308 pattern) rifles with a serrated paddle surface. The augmented design adds more working surface than a standard bolt catch, making it easier to lock the bolt to the rear or release it during reloads and malfunction clearing.
