Manufacturer details
If you're building a real thumper of an AR-15, then you can't go wrong by choosing the Faxon Firearms Gunner Big Bore Barrel, which is purpose-built to handle all the stresses that come with shooting large-caliber cartridges from your AR-style rifle.
This particular model of the Faxon Firearms Gunner Big Bore Barrel is chambered for the popular .458 SOCOM and is machined from durable 4150 CMV steel. Each barrel is button-rifled to provide the best possible accuracy.
In addition to its durable construction, each Faxon Firearms Gunner Big Bore Barrel is finished with a black-nitride treatment that wards off corrosion and provides enhanced wear resistance. The barrel also features a threaded muzzle and 11-degree target crown.
