This Ed Brown mainspring housing is a flat-profile replacement for Government and Commander size 1911 pistols. The blank, uncheckered face leaves the gunsmith free to finish it as desired. The blued finish matches blued frames, making it a clean upgrade for custom builds or replacing a factory arched housing.
