Tactical Solutions X-Ring Rifle Muzzle Compensator for Ruger 10/22 .22 LR .920" 1/2x28 Thread Silver is a compensator in 1/2-28 for .22 Caliber.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: California defines a flash suppressor by what it does: any muzzle device designed or intended to reduce or redirect muzzle flash. A compensator that only reduces muzzle rise is treated like a brake and works on a featureless rifle; a hybrid that also claims flash reduction counts as a flash hider.
