Faxon Firearms Modified Light Palma Profile 8.6 Blackout Remage Style Barrel - 8.6 Blackout 16" 1-3 Twist is a rifle barrel, 16 in, 1:3 in twist.
Match the barrel to your platform (gas system length, barrel extension and thread pitch on an AR; the exact action on a bolt gun). Twist rate decides which bullet weights stabilize: faster twists suit heavier bullets.

Faxon starts with 416R stainless steel from there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges. Features button rifling; Modified Light Palma profile; Salt Bath Nitride inside and outside finish; M18x1.5 thread, tapered shoulder and 11 degree target crowned. Includes thread protector, taper adapter, and Faxon RemAge Style Barrel Nut. Faxon's barrel nut uses a standard AR Armorer's Castle nut Wrench profile.
