About this compensator
Faxon Firearms EXOS-515 FF-P-A-Compensator-DS-S-01 is a compensator for Sig Sauer for 9mm.
Thread pitch and bore diameter are the two things to confirm: the device has to match your barrel's threads and be bored for your caliber or larger.
California note: California defines a flash suppressor by what it does: any muzzle device designed or intended to reduce or redirect muzzle flash. A compensator that only reduces muzzle rise is treated like a brake and works on a featureless rifle; a hybrid that also claims flash reduction counts as a flash hider. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.
Manufacturer details
Constructed of 6061 Aluminum with a black anodized finish, Faxon Pistol Compensators feature a uniquely angled front port single chamber design, enabling the compensator to improve consistency while reducing muzzle climb and recoil. The angled ports allow gas to deflect upwards as opposed to only deflecting sideways, reducing up and down muzzle movement and improving reliability. Barrel protrusion is designed to fit flush with the slide and has been optimized for Faxon branded barrels. For all other barrels, the barrel should protrude .600 or less for a flush fit. Each compensator comes complete with thread locker, two 6-32 set screws, and a 1/16 Allen wrench.

A note on accuracy. Specifications, fitment and images come from the manufacturer and can contain errors or change without notice. If a detail matters to your purchase, call us and we will confirm it before you order. Any compliance notes are general information, not legal advice; California and local laws change, and the rules that apply depend on the firearm the part goes on.
