The Fortis Lightweight Enhanced (LE) K2 castle nut and end plate combo secures an AR-15 receiver extension without staking. The K2 system uses a locking lever that seats through a slot in the end plate and into cutouts on the castle nut, so it stays put without staking, set screws or ratcheting. A QD socket with a 360-degree rotational lock gives you a sling point at the rear of the receiver. Both parts are 7075-T6 aluminum, anodized black.
