About this muzzle brake

Ruger Glenfield Hybrid Muzzle Brake, 450 Bushmaster, Oxide Finish, Black, 11/16X24 Thread Pitch is a muzzle brake.

Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.

California note: a muzzle brake is not a listed feature, so it works on featureless and fixed-magazine rifles alike. More brakes are in our muzzle brake section; see the California Rifle Compliance Guide for how each build works.

Manufacturer details

This hybrid muzzle brake reduces recoil muzzle rise and debris by directing the blast to the sides of the muzzle. It is constructed from alloy steel for strength and durability with a black oxide finish to complement most firearms. It is timed using an external jam nut. This muzzle brake is compatible with Glenfield Rifles chambered in 450 Bushmaster. This Genuine Glenfield Factory Accessory is made in the USA.
