About this compensator

HUXWRX Safety Company Long 2885 is a compensator for the 1/2X28 for .223/5.56.

Thread pitch and bore diameter are the two things to confirm: the device has to match your barrel's threads and be bored for your caliber or larger.

California note: California defines a flash suppressor by what it does: any muzzle device designed or intended to reduce or redirect muzzle flash. A compensator that only reduces muzzle rise is treated like a brake and works on a featureless rifle; a hybrid that also claims flash reduction counts as a flash hider. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.

Manufacturer details

Muzzle device length is 2.96 inches, length added to barrel is 2.34 inches. Built for 13.7" platforms to bring barrel to 16" overall length (on barrels with 0.6" threads) and works on 13.9" to bring barrel to 16.2" overall length. Pre-drilled for ease of pin and weld.
