This Proof Research pre-fit carbon fiber barrel is chambered in 7 PRC and made to fit the Impact Precision 787 action. It has a 22" length and a 1:8 twist, a rate suited to the long, heavy bullets the 7 PRC is built around. Being pre-fit, it is machined for that specific action so a rifle can be rebarreled without custom chambering work, and the carbon fiber wrap keeps weight down compared with an all-steel contour.
