The Midwest Industries Blast Can MI-BC762X39 is a muzzle device accessory for M14X1 LH.
The firearms market has seen increased popularity for AK-style pistols and even short-barreled rifle variants of popular 16-inch non-NFA carbine designs. An issue with these short-barreled models is the increased muzzle blast, especially with a support hand being near the muzzle. The Midwest Industries AK-47 Blast Can Compensator eliminates this issue.
The Midwest Industries AK-47 Blast Can Compensator works by directing the escaping gases at the muzzle forward, thereby directing them away from appendages on handguards. The design does not reduce flash or recoil, however.
