About this parts kit
An EGW one-piece tungsten guide rod for 1911 pistols. Tungsten is much denser than steel, so the rod adds weight under the dust cover, which helps keep the muzzle flatter during recoil and speeds up follow-up shots. It replaces the factory recoil spring guide rod.

Any compliance notes are general information, not legal advice; California and local laws change, and the rules that apply depend on the firearm the part goes on.
