About this muzzle brake

Faxon Firearms AR-15 Streamline Muzzle Brake - Slim 5.56 NATO 3-PORT Muzzle Brake .620 1/2"-28 Threads Black is a muzzle brake in 1/2-28.

Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.

California note: a muzzle brake is not a listed feature, so it works on featureless and fixed-magazine rifles alike. More brakes are in our muzzle brake section; see the California Rifle Compliance Guide for how each build works.

Manufacturer details

Faxon Firearm’s Streamline 3 Port Muzzle Brake is unique to the AR-15 market with an outside diameter of only .620”. This allow for pinning and welding on a 14.5” barrel to give you an overall length of 16”, yet still allows for gas blocks and barrels nuts to be exchanged. Made from 4150 with a QPQ finish.
