About this charging handle

Next Level Armament NLX556 Small Ears Ambidextrous Charging Handle for AR-15 is a charging handle.

AR-15 and AR-10 charging handles are different lengths and are not interchangeable. Ambidextrous handles help left-handed shooters and anyone running a large optic; extended latches make it easier to charge the rifle with the support hand.

Manufacturer details

The Next Level Armament NLX556 AR-15 small ear Ambi Charging Handle is the same legendary charge handle design, except we assembled it with smaller ears. Still manufactured with 7075 aluminum, we produced the smaller profile “ears” at the request of our customers who wanted a slightly slimmer profile on their rifle.

Whether you install our original NLX556 Ambidextrous Charge Handle, the NLX556 Simplified Ambi Charge Handle, or the NLX556 Ambi CH-S, be assured you have the best ambidextrous charge handle design on the market.
