About this muzzle brake
Ultradyne USA Apollo Max Compensator Muzzle Brake with Timing Nut AR-10 6.5, 5/8X24 Thread, .975 Outside is a muzzle brake for 6.5 Creedmoor.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: a muzzle brake is not a listed feature, so it works on featureless and fixed-magazine rifles alike. More brakes are in our muzzle brake section; see the California Rifle Compliance Guide for how each build works.
Manufacturer details
One of the highlights of the 6.5 Creedmoor is its reduced recoil compared to other short-action cartridges, but what if you could roll back that recoil even further? With the Ultradyne Apollo Max 6.5 Creedmoor Compensator, your precision rifle could stay steady on target, allowing for fast follow-up shots and quick target transitions.
Each Ultradyne Apollo Max 6.5 Creedmoor Compensator is machined from durable, corrosion-resistant 416 stainless steel and fits most standard threaded muzzles. The design of the compensator ensures that shooters experience virtually zero muzzle climb.
The Apollo Max 6.5 Creedmoor Compensator accomplishes this feat without venting muzzle gases up in front of the sight picture or back toward the shooter, so there's no disruption to get in the way of a follow-up shot.
