About this compensator
Yankee Hill Machine Slant Brake/Compensator YHM-3085-MB-A is a compensator for AR rifles for .30 Caliber.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: California defines a flash suppressor by what it does: any muzzle device designed or intended to reduce or redirect muzzle flash. A compensator that only reduces muzzle rise is treated like a brake and works on a featureless rifle; a hybrid that also claims flash reduction counts as a flash hider. The YHM Slant .30 Cal Muzzle Brake and Compensator hybrid is designed to reduce recoil as well as muzzle rise for a quicker follow up shot. It is made from quality heat-treated steel and plated with Melonite QPQ with a matte black finish. It is threaded 5/8"-24 and includes the crush washer.
