Yankee Hill Machine Mini QD Flash Hider, Matte Black, 1/2X36 Thread, Fits Turbo T2, Turbo K, Resonator is a flash hider.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: a flash hider is a listed feature on a semi-automatic centerfire rifle with a detachable magazine. It works on a fixed-magazine (MagLock or CompMag) build. On a featureless rifle it is replaced with a thread protector or a muzzle brake. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.

The Mini Q.D. Flash Hider is for YHM's fast attach sound suppressor systems. Compact at only 2 1/8" and weighing in 3.3 ounces, the Mini Q.D. Flash Hider was designed for today's competitive shooter. No short cuts were taken and users will find that the Mini Q.D. Flash Hider is still capable of being shot comfortably unsuppressed as well as suppressed. Flash Hider is compatible with- Turbo T2's, Turbo K's, Resonator's, Resonator R2's, Resonator K's, Nitro .30, all Phantom .30 caliber suppressors, as well as our new R9 9mm and NITRO N2O sound suppressors. The device should be torqued to between 20 and 30 ft-lbs.
