Proof Research Zermatt Arms Pre-fit Stainless 6 Gt Rifle Barrel - Zermatt Origin Pre-fit Stainless Steel 6GT is a rifle barrel for Bighorn|Origin, 26 in, 1-7.5 twist, 5/8-24 threads.
Check the gas system length, muzzle threads and profile against your handguard and gas block. The twist rate tells you which bullet weights the barrel is happiest with; 1:7 and 1:8 handle heavy bullets, 1:9 and slower favor light ones.

The drilling, rifling, and lapping process is identical to our composite barrels. They start with the same steel as they use in the carbon fiber barrels. It is a double stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, a pre-hardened chromium stainless steel that was specifically designed by engineers in collaboration with rifle barrel makers to provide the consistent, high quality and durability the firearms industry demands.
