X-Bolt Speed models have a well-earned reputation as reliable straight-shooting hunting rifles. These rifles stand-out from other guns — both in terms of performance and looks — with a barreled action protected by a durable Cerakote finish camouflage on the lightweight composite stock and a fluted sporter weight precision barrel. But a rifle doesn't become a legend by looking good. Fortunately the awesome appearance of the Speed rifle was more than ably backed-up by its tack driving performance. The X-Bolt 2 Speed LR SR has the performance-driven features of the Speed rifle. The lengths of the fluted sporter contour barrels have been optimized and run 2" longer than standard lengths (to a maximum of 26") for added bullet velocities. The muzzle is belled to accommodate the larger 5/8"-24 suppressor-ready threading. A radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap are included. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.
